Life
Each step of life is a journey that you choose to walk.
Each moment of life is another line, sentence, paragraph and chapter of the book called your life.
Enjoy all that life has to offer, good friends, good food, good coffee and as always wisdom and a good laugh.

Weekly Wrap
Amongst the Facebook posts and the Twitter tweets, you'd think I'd be all out of words! Not really...I have found solace in expressing life through my words. I often believe that too many people hold way too much in, and often do not speak enough. Besides, I know if I don't keep a journal, I will forget, and there's just too many good things in life to remember. You know what is really cool (and I learned this not too long ago)...Kings kept a daily record of what went on in their life and they would often ask for a reference from the historian so they could recall an event or person at any given time. I thought that was cool.
This week has had its moments of sheer happiness and of course it has had moments of doubts and frustrations. At home it's been full tilt as Mike has been working on a side job and catering. Work at work is still pretty slow. And he has still been having trouble sleeping so he's been very tired. That in itself is a whole other blog. So let's go to this past weeks events...
Last Saturday the kids and I went to the Union Avenue concert at BCA. It was a great time of fellowship, and all the guys were just great to meet and have a great heart for the Lord God.
(Johnathon from Union Avenue)
Sunday was a great day of worship and as we are coming to the end on the end of times, I have to say that I am encouraged in knowing that not only is there a purpose for this life, but there is a purpose for my life, and I only want to share that good news with others!
This week we have been gearing up for our WAY Radio Free Fall Concert (learn more @ www.wayradio.org) This year's concert, I believe is going to be better than ever! Mark Schultz, 33 Miles, and Finding Favour...what could better!
Had a great meeting with BNI this week...I love BNI! So much fun and I love meeting all these wonderful people that call this community home. Wednesday Bart and I went to a chamber luncheon. That was nice, different, but nice. There always seems to be an agenda...why is that?
My boys...ahhh...my boys. They had there first basketball game last night. Since there's not enough players for a full roster, CIA SportsClub (http://www.ciasportsclub.net) has made 4 teams of 6 players, with 3 players on the floor at a time. It seemed to work. My boys are on the same team, and it was cool to watch them play together. It's the first time that they have been on a team together where Lil'Man actually wanted to play! For me..that is a victory! The boys team (the "black" team) won last night. But what was the most important thing about that win was they did it together as a TEAM!
There you have it...my week in a wrap. I'm looking forward to seeing you tomorrow at 90.7 WAY Radio's FREE Concert...did I mention...it's FREE?!!

Cool concert...

Um...yeah...*YAWN*
I am just a wee bit tired this morning. Last night was great, but this morning I am still trying to get in gear. What kept me up you ask? Chris & Conrad!

They were here in Brunswick for a concert last night & it was good. Jayme, Bart & I enjoyed hanging out with not just Chris and Conrad, but also sisters Tal and Acacia.

We did the promotions for the station and helped Aadam with the World Vision give away they had last night. I had only 2 of my children with me, Logan was a bit too tired to hang last night. He was not happy about the decision, but it was made & we stuck with it. Sometimes the hardest part about being a parent is sticking with the decision that you make for your child.
We took a lot of great photos and my kids had a great time at the concert.

Once I got home I uploaded the pictures on Facebook before heading into bed. I was wired...go figure, but this morning I am paying the price with a foggy head.

Today I need to focus. I have to get my thoughts in order for the BNI meeting at 1030 AND I still have to take the kids shopping. They know what they want to get their Dad for Father's Day...so we need to go get that today. On the upside...I have NO place to be this evening!!!! I do need to get my Pampered Chef order done...I hope it's not too late, guess I'll find out.
That's Thursday! This weekend is going to be jammed pack as well...the kids are testing for the Orange Belts in Karate on Saturday & the Nichole is performing with the Stick Ministry on Sunday! I'm so excited to see her performing...I know that she'll do a great job.
Jesus is So Awesome & I am just in Awe at what he is doing in my life and through my family. I just pray that I give Him all the Glory.
Peace & Blessings,
Jen

Too Much...
Information (TMI) in my head today! There's so much in my head that I feel like I am going to scream. Bart & I have been "teasing" upcoming events, but we can't really give any details yet & it almost feels like I'm keeping a secret. I guess in a way I am, and I'm terrible at keeping secrets - well exciting news I guess I should say. But I know that I can blog about them so that is what I'm going to do!
This summer starting June 13th we are going to have a Summer Wave Promotional it's WAY RADIO SUNDAYS!! You go to our website, www.wayradio.org, starting next week & click on the Summer Waves logo for the $9.07 tickets. You'll have to buy 10 @ a time, but that is a great deal!!!
The next big thing is our 8th Annual Beach Concert!!! I'm so excited about this years concert because we are having KUTLESS & DOVE AWARD WINNER'S SIDEWALK PROPHETS! I have really enjoyed watching their careers blossom & I'm looking forward to seeing where God will lead them!
OK...that's off my mind now...I'm looking forward to all the great things that God is doing here in Brunswick & I know that the battle will continue to rage on, as it has for years. I see it ebb & flow and I often wonder if I'm strong enough for this battle. I pray that I am and I pray that I'm raising my children to be strong enough.
That's my thoughts for now.
